| YouTube: Past Lovers-Nelena-Ch.2[Part 1]{collab w/ caneytaneywaney5} I awoke to the annoyance of my alarm clock ringing next to me. I quickly pulled the duvet off of me and sat up, turned over to let my feet touch the cold wooden floor of my apartment. Suddenly, my head was dizzy, the quick movement made the room spin for five seconds. I recovered quick. I performed the daily tasks and got ready for work. As I walked down the streets to work, my mind wandered around, who was "he"? I entered the building and went up to my floor in the elevator. The doors opened and my breath was caught, my eyes shrunk as I saw the familiar man by the main desk, laughing and talking with the Desk Lady like they were best friends. I clenched my bag and decided I would just go to my cubicle, no eye contact, nothing. I began making my way past them, trying to avoid the scene. "Ah, there you are, Selena!" Desk Lady called. I spun around and faced Desk Lady and him, I guess my position gave me away. "Don't look so surprised, here is your partner." He turned around and as his eyes met mine, I felt the same rush speed through me. He seemed pleased at my annoyed expression. I looked at myself, long draping black coat, a black purse, all covering my long white tee and jeans. My eyes met Desk Lady's, "Could you both just um.. hold on just a um second?" i rushed away into my cubicle, tore off my jacket and purse, sloppily hung my jacket on the rack, my purse thrown on the desk. I came back, not knowing the impulse to my actions. Was I trying to look good for him? "Back <b>...</b> |
